So, here’s the deal: OMG promised to pay for the Championship Court at Plummer Park. Which means… we need to raise some cash. 😅

On June 26th, we’re hosting our 2nd golf tournament + silent auction. The golf committee asked our Friday Morning League to donate a basket. So we came up with this beauty:

🥐 Sunday Brunch for 6 at Chandler Hill Vineyards
       Defiance, MO, any Sunday, 10AM to 2PM
🍾 Bottomless mimosas included (yes, really - except for the designated driver 😢)

Our family was there for Easter brunch this year. Amazing food. Killer view. Zero regrets. 🍳🥂

Wanna help? Just bring a small cash or check donation to Corbin or Dawn. Anything extra collected goes to the Championship Court fund. Totally optional. Totally appreciated.

📌 Frequently Asked Questions

What is a POD?
To keep play running smooth, a pod is 4 teams playing on 2 courts. Each team plays 3 rounds (6 games total) against the other teams in the POD, alternating first service and side each game.
I have to miss a week. How do subs work?
You can arrange your own sub if you like, just let us know before that Friday. We can also arrange subs for you if needed. Note: Using a sub for your team does not affect your team's rank.
Why am I paired with someone from another team?
Each of your teams needed a partner, you're both there to play, and we needed a "team" to fill a Pod. Problem solved!
What if my POD only has 3 teams?
Stuff happens! As a last resort 3-Team Pods will still play 3 rounds-just one team sits each game while the other two play. In this case, each team gets 4 total games.

📋 League Guidelines

  • TIME is important! Be ready to start matches on time.
  • First team to 11 points wins. (Win by 1)
  • Play each team twice regardless of whether you are in a 4-Team or 3-Team Pod.
  • Game 1: Rock paper scissors → winner chooses serve OR side.
  • Game 2: Other team serves first. Sides automatically swap.
  • No switch at 6 points.
  • Line calls: Receiving team makes the call → unsure is considered IN.
  • At 9:45AM GROUP 1 will stop play (record scores) or relocate courts to finish so GROUP 2 can start.
